NOVEMBER 1st HAPPY HOUR/SOCIAL


Please come join the HCA for the Fall Happy Hour/Social and networking event. The event will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at The Houston Club, One Shell Plaza, 910 Louisiana, Suite 4900, Houston, TX 77002, from 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm. Parking is available at 811 Louisiana Parking Garage. If you RSVP prior to the event you will receive 2 drink tickets. To RSVP, please e-mail Barbara Buckley (bbuckley@houstonclaimsassoc.com) or register online. There will be Door Prizes and Raffle tickets will be sold for great prizes.

NOVEMBER CE SEMINAR


Houston Claims Association’s November CE seminar will be held Wednesday, November 8, 8:45 am, at the CenterPoint Energy Service Center, 4300 Bissonnet, Bellaire, TX 77401. The program will be presented by the Lugenbuhl, Wheaton, Peck, Rankin & Hubbard law firm. Topics for the 4-hours of TDI approved CE credit will include House Bill 1774 and Appraisals, The Stowers Doctrine, Online Resources and Marijuana - Does it affect my job?, and Claim Files and Taking Statements. In addition to the 4 hours of CE credit, both breakfast and lunch will be served. Online cost is $42.50. To help stream line sign in, attendees are encouraged to prepay using the payment option offered with the registration page.


FUTURE PROGRAMS:
December 13: Lunch will be at the Palm, 6100 Westheimer, 11:15 am. One hour of general credit will be presented. Remember the toy/food drive.

DECEMBER TOY/FOOD DRIVE


Where has 2017 gone? It is the holiday season again and time for the annual toy/food drive. To help make this the best toy/food drive HCA has sponsored, consider starting now and getting your whole office involved. This year Hurricane Harvey has caused an increase in the number of hardships on many families. HCA is requesting that new toys for infants to age 16 and non-perishable food items be brought to the December luncheon. Following the meeting, food items will be delivered to Pathways Food Pantry and toys to a local fire station for distribution for Toys for Tots. Little ones are always fun to buy for, but please don’t forget the teenagers!!

Vendors, you are encouraged to sponsor a door prize for our attendees. Let us know when you RSVP. Thank you.


2017 FALL GOLF TOURNAMENT


What a great day!!
